I first met Will when I joined the camera club in 2007. I felt very much a ‘new comer’ at the first meeting, but Will made me feel very welcome. Later I joined his ‘group of friends’ visiting the Royal Albert Hall for various classical concerts, until they withdrew the discounted offers and prices became too high. Over the years the camera club ran exhibitions of our work at the Ascot Race course, Ascot Community Centre and the Licenced Victuallers School and Will was always the first to volunteer to help set them up and man the table for the day. He loved talking to strangers and was so proud of his photographs especially of his family and trips around London. From time to time I used to help him with his IT email problems during which time he used to tell me lovely stories about his life and family and always rewarded me with vegetables from the garden or cake from the freezer. I will miss him greatly and he will always be in my memories. Love to you, Will, from Janet
